Hello Danube

After a few fairly hilly days of riding, very pleased to see Ulm once again, and the Danube (Donau) river which should lead me to the Black Sea.

I couldn't make myself wait around to do any tourism in Ulm this time, and got straight on the river and sped along the cycle route. No more hills for a few thousand kilometres, so they say.

Many cyclists doing this route too, and a nice feeling indeed to not be in the minority mode of transport just for a change.

I decided to camp in a Campingplatz at Dillingen, and cooked a very nice dinner but to the amusement of some of the other campers, it took forever with my rocket stove as the wood was all wet from all the rain. Still, at least the campsite owners had thoughtfully put up a giant tent in which to put up our tents, meaning no waiting for them to dry out the next day!
